The British mystery thriller ‘Guilt’ is coming to enthrall the Indian audiences. Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India, is coming up with the Hindi adaptation of the popular series. Actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub have been roped in to play the lead. The untitled series will be directed by Shaad Ali who previously helmed Bollywood films like Bunty Aur Babli and Soorma, among others. 

 

The story of Guilt revolves around two estranged brothers who come together in tragic circumstances and are then bound together by guilt. The Hindi version will see brothers Jaggi and Daljeet. One is wealthy and enjoys life while the other struggles to make ends meet. A single tragedy creates a rift between the two. The show also stars Tina Desai, Shruti Seth, Maya Alagh, Mugdha Godse and Satish Kaushik. Aditya Birla Group’s Applause Entertainment and BBC Studios are also bringing other international shows to the Indian audiences like Criminal Justice and the upcoming Rudra – The Edge of Darkness.
