Keerthy Suresh To Play Sita In Saif Ali Khan Starrer Adipurush

The magnum opus Adipurush will be based on the mythological story of Ramayan. Interestingly, actor Saif Ali Khan will play the role of Ravan while Prabhas will essay the role of Lord Ram. There were talks that Uri actor Vicky Kaushal is being considered for playing Laxman, but no announcement on the same is made yet. Now another interesting piece of news is out that South actress Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to play the role of Sita. She has heard the script and is pretty impressed. The makers have yet to give us a full confirmation on the star cast though. 

Adipurush will be high on VFX and special effects. The film will be directed by Om Raut who previously helmed Tanhaji starring Ajay Devgn and Kajol with Saif as the villain.
