Prabhas Starrer Adipurush Gets A Release Date, Clashes With This Akshay Kumar Starrer

Makers of the much awaited Saif Ali Khan and Prabhas starrer have finally zeroed in on a theatrical release date. The film that will be based on the epic mythological tale of Ramayana, will hit the big screens on 11th August 2022. This date however will clash with the Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Raksha Bandhan, which will depict the sweet bond of love between brothers and sisters. The two films will lock horns at the box office next year. 

 

Adipurush will see Prabhas essay the role of Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif as Ravan and Sunny Singh and Laxman. While the theaters in Maharashtra are all set to open on 22nd October, films like ‘83, Sooryavanshi, Shamshera and many more more are locking dates of their theatrical releases. Others are opting for the OTT platform. In the end it is the audience and content that will make a film successful.
