Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera To Release This July

Fans of Ranbir Kapoor have been eagerly waiting to see the star on the big screens. His last film was Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju which released in 2018 and was a stupendous success. He will next be seen in Yash Raj’s upcoming film Shamshera giving us an account of a dacoit tribe that battled the British to gain freedom from them. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor in the lead. Sanjay Dutt is also part of the star cast. In a short teaser released by the makers, we see the three stars mouth dialogues from the film. Sharing the video YRF captioned it, “A legend will rise on 22nd July. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.”

Shamshera is directed by Karan Malhotra and is produced by YRF. Vaani announced the film’s release date on her social media page and wrote, “The adventure is about to begin. Excited to be a part of this journey! Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 22nd July.” 

Apart from this film, Ranbir will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s Animal. Vaani was last seen with Ayushmann Khurrana in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Sanjay Dutt has KGF:Chapter 2 and Prithviraj to look forward to.
