Sanju is 2018 Blockbuster biographical film directed by Rajkumar Hirani with script by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi and is jointly produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Hirani under the banner of Rajkumar Hirani Films and Vinod Chopra Films.
The film is based on the real life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, his drug addictions to losing his mother, his arrests that followed in association with the 1993 Mumbai Bomb blasts , relationships with his father, his lover, his wife. The film is Sanjay Dutt’s come back to the Bollywood Industry after his release from the jail term.
Sanjay Dutt’s role is very convincingly played by Ranbir Kapoor who stars as Dutt . The film has a star cast with Paresh Rawal playing the role of his father Sunil Dutt Starring in the film are Manisha Koirala as the beautiful mother Nargis Dutt, Dia Mirza as Manyata Dutt , Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Jim Sarbh as the supporting stars.
