Indian actors are the most highly paid celebrities in the country. Some of the top stars make crores for each of their public appearance and a lot more for signing each film. It’s not a surprise that these stars lead a very luxurious life. 

Bollywood Actress to Own a Private Island

Most of these stars of Indian cinema boast of private jets, bungalows, farm houses, fleets of luxury cars, etc.  But the only Bollywood actress who owns a private Island is not Deepika Padukone or Priyanka Chopra or Aishwarya Rai or Alia Bhatt, it is the actress Jacqueline Fernandez, the only actress who is said to own a private island.   

Jacqueline Fernandez who has been in the Indian film industry for over two decades now owns a four-acre island off the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan actress per report is said to have spent over $600 K on the purchase of this island which is roughly Rs 3 crores.

It is also stated that the actress wishes to build a lavish villa on the island possessed by her but she has not ascertained if she would like to use the villa for herself or will use it for commercial purpose. 

There is also no clarity on what she wants to do with the island that she has acquired.

The former beauty queen of Sri Lanka had begun her career in Bollywood films in 2009 with her debut film Aladin and since then she has delivered a few hits. The actress also had a spate of flop films after a few successful films like Housefull 2, Murder 2 and Raid 2. Jacqueline Fernandes has signed two films and the release is expected in 2025. Housefull 5 and Welcome to the Jungle, both of which feature her co-star is film actor Akshay Kumar.
