Arun Chatterjee (Joy Sengupta) is an archaeologist who lives with his wife Riya & Son Aladdin (Ritesh Deshmukh). He is attacked by a gang for a magic lamp which he has found and hidden. Arun & Riya are murdered. Aladdin is raised by his grand father who later dies. Aladdin lives in fictional city, but is lonely, his mates bully him since childhood, but his life changes when he meets Jasmine (Jacqueline Fernandes)
Lots of twists & Turns in the film. Aladdin rubs the lamp, out comes a genie named Genius (Amitabh Bachchan) who grants him three wishes. Aladdin gets very happy & together they teach Kasim a lesson. Life starts looking perfect until the genie’s Ringmaster (Sanjay Dutt) comes into his life. Jasmine is kidnapped but Ringmaster comes in a disguise, poisoning his mind against Genius telling him that his parents were murdered by him, so he gets upset, asking Genius to leave.
Ringmaster steals the lamp, wants Genius to kill Aladdin which he refuses. In the end Aladdin realises his mistake and both go to rescue Jasmine.
