The new title Dhurandhar: The Revenge shared its teaser and was cleared by the CBFC with an A certificate. Signalling the dark and more intense chapter than the first release.

The Dhurandhar 2 or the Dhurandhar: The Revenge has already generated strong buzz after it confirmed its release coinciding with the theatrical prints of Border 2 before it went into the digital debut.  The strategy the makers have adapted is a big spectacle which has positioned the teaser as a cinematic event itself even before the actual film release.  

The new teaser cut reportedly has adapted the end credits of the first film while it will premiere in the theatre first, it will reinforce its big screen approach with the ongoing wave of patriotic cinema which is riding high with the release of Border 2 riding high on the same nationalistic theme. 

March 19th 2026 is set for the big cinematic event of the year. 

Director Aditya Dhar who directed Dhurandhar , produced by B62 in association with Jio Studios featured a powerhouse ensemble with Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun.  The film had a gripping storytelling of an Indian spy who infiltrates a a deadly gang in Karachi and the chaos that unleash thereafter. 

The sequel is expected to push the narratives of the part one further raising an emotional and bring in more action.  

Despite the slow star after the release of Dhurandhar, the momentum picked up to a phenomenon box office collection through strong word of mouth and went to collect Rs. 879 .75 crore making it one of the highest grossing films of all times until January 18th 2026.  It is further expected to reach sky high while the Dhurandhar :The Revenge is expected to set the box office records ablaze all over again.
