Anurag and Prerna study in the same university and yet never really meet. However they are slowly drawn to each other and fate makes them meet. Eventually the two fall in love and decide to marry. The evil and conniving Komilika however creates problems for them and creates a situation where Anurag has to marry her. Prerna then is forced to marry Mr. Bajaj and things get complicated for Anurag and Prerna until they are finally together. However Komolika plays her cunning game again and makes Anurag betray Prerna. Eight years later Prerna has moved to London and is a successful business woman while Anurag runs his own business in Kolkata. Prerna however decides to avenge her betrayal by her ex-lover. The serial is directed by Muzammil Desai and produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor. The star cast includes Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes, Hina Khan, Aamna Sharif, Karan Singh Grove and Karan Patel.
