Anushka Sharma established herself as an Actress. Following a successful audition at Yash Raj Films she made it to the Tinsel Town Screen debut in the blockbuster romantic film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008 with co-star Shahrukh Khan which earned her nomination at the Filmfare Awards for Best Actress and Best Female Debut. Anushka rose to fame for her role in this film and got some good offers thereafter. She played the leading lady in the Crime-Comedy film Badmaash Company directed by Parmeet Sethi co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das. The film dealt with mixed reviews. Her 2nd film was in 2010, once again in Yash Raj Films Band Baaja Baaraat which was a superhit film and did commercially well. Followed by her film with Shahrukh Khan once again in 2012 in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which won her a Best Supporting Actress Award at the Filmfare Awards Function. In 2014 she had her biggest commercial success with her role in the religious spoof PK followed by her role as a wrestler in the sports film Sultan in 2016 both of which ranged among the highest-grossing films in the Indian cinema in that year. Anushka received critical accolades for her performances in both films. In 2015, Anushka played a role in the multi-star cast film Dil Dhadakne Do in 2016. Her role was much appreciated by the audience and she received once again the critical acclaim. Then came the Crime Thriller NH 10 which made her mark as a producer of the film for the first time after she had established herself as a distinguished actress. In 2016 Anushka’s last film released is the much talked about film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in which she plays Fawad Khan a lover of Ranbir Kapoor. After her last film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Anushka Sharma has taken a long break but isn’t missing from the limelight. She is still the bubbly girl of Bollywood. She is one of the few actresses we have who has experimented with her acting skills in films like NH10 and she has adored her role as Akira or Alizeh. The 28-year-old actress is one of the best-found faces in the Hindi Film Industry she has a strong connection with Yash Raj Films and has proved herself to be one of the finest actresses. The good-looking glamorous actress even managed to pull off the role of a wrestler in the film with conviction talking about how versatile this young actress is. She will be soon seen in her forthcoming film titled Phillauri a romantic comedy featuring Sharma with Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma. She has also started her work for her third film with the King Khan for the film, The Ring. The actress has also committed to appear in the comedy film Kaneda with Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh which will be released in 2017.
