Known for her versatility, the veteran actress who has made a name in films, television and in web series, her career spanned across three decades. She has the ability to bring depth to the supporting role particularly that of a maternal figure. She is one of the most familiar faces of the Indian entertainments.


Her Career highlights began with her acting journey in the late 1990’s. Neelu appeared in shows like Aahat in 1995, Bhabhi in 2002 and she rose to prominence with her work in television and cinema in 2010.


Neelu Kohli is widely recognized for her roles in the popular soaps. Some of the most notable credits include, Shastri Sisters where she was the Minty Sareen. Mere Angne Mein as Sharmila Sinha, Naamkarann as Harleen Khanna, Choti Sarrdaarni as Vidita Bajwa, Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.


Neelu not only did televisions but also carved a niche for herself playing relatable roles in films often with humor or emotional depth or resonating mother and aunt’s roles. Her most significant films were Houseful 2 released in 2012, Hindi Medium in 2017, Patiala House in 2011, Manmarziyaan in 2018 and Goodbye in 2022.


Her most recent is Kissa Court Kachehari Ka release in 2026, a courtroom drama where she plays a pivotal role.
