Pearl Puri was born in a prosperous Punjabi Khatri family in Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh. Pearl’s father is a businessman. He did his schooling from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School in Chhindwara and also studied at Ragendra Swarup Public School in Agra. Pearl graduated from St. John’s College in Agra and went on to do a correspondence course in MBA.
Born in a Punjabi Khatri family, Pearl is pure vegetarian and enjoys singing, writing songs, travelling, long drives. He plays harmonium and enjoys snookers.
His father was against him joining films and wanted him to join the family owned business though Pearl always desired to be an actor. His mother supported him. He left his home in Agra and settled in the tinsel town Mumbai to pursue his dream and went on to join the acting program a recognized acting school named ‘Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares’ the school for actors. His dream was fulfilled when he was offered his debut role in 2013 with Dil Ki Nazar Se.
Till then to initiate his career he had started modelling and had appeared in many popular ad commercials such as Fair One Cream, Maruti Ritz, Zen Mobile, Tata DoCoMo, Pizza Hut, Nestlé’s Kit Kat and many more.

Pearl Puri made his debut in 2013 with Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat. In 2015, Puri appeared in Phir Bhi Na Maane Badtameez Dil . In 2016, He appeared in Meri Saasu Ma and Naagarjuna- Ek Yoddha.
Between 2018 and 2019, Pearl Puri had acted in Naagin 3 opposite Surbhi Jyoti. He also had portrayed a role as Raghbir Malhotra in Bepanah Pyaar opposite Aparna Dixit and Ishita Dutta.
Puri was ranked as one of the Most Desirable Men on the Television List by Times of India in 2018. He also ranked 26th in the 50 Most Desirable Men List and in Biz Aisa he was ranked the 20th Best Television Personality List in 2019.
He had won the Critics Best Actor, Gold Award for his role in Naagin 3.
Now heading for his dream, he would be seen in Sanjay Dutt’s Documentary Film which is yet to be released . He has also signed for Bollywood’s big banner Yash Raj though his character in the film is not yet defined.
