Rithvik Dhanjani Early Life

Rithvik Dhanjani is born on 5th November 1988 in Mansour in Madhya Pradesh. He is born in a Sindhi family and they moved to Dubai after he was born. He has a younger sister named Heena Dhanjani. He did his schooling in Dubai and had completed his graduation from City of London College, London.

His first successful role was with Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. Rithvik did his debut in film Jo Hum Chahein in 2011 which failed to make its mark. In 2013 came his turning point where by his career had a shift as he became a host with Yeh Hai Aashiqui and with the success of t his show, he started hosting other shows like India’s Next Superstar, Super Dancer, India’s Best Dramebaaz and So You Think You Can Dance.

Rithvik made his debut in web series with I Don’t Watch TV in 2015 and in 2018 he made his entry in another web series called XXX . In 2021 he acted in Cartel.

Rithvik has won reality shows such as Nach Baliye 6 with his partner Asha Negi and also in I Can Do That.

In 2009 and 2010 he portrayed supporting parts of Prithvi Punder and also Partho Rawal in Tere Liye in the same year. He then had portrayed in support roles in Prithvi Pundir in Bairi Piya from 2009 and 2010 and as Partho Rawal in Tere Liye in 2010. He later worked in a short film Aftermath portrayed as Ali.

In 2012, he won the runner-up in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 as a Wild Card entry.

After his stint in Pavitra Rishta which made him popular it became a turning point in his career. He portrayed the character from 2011 to 2014 and won several nominations for his role in the Indian Telly Awards for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

Between 2013 and 2015 he hosted two seasons of Yeh Hai Aashiqui which gained him further praises for the role essayed as Kabir in 2013 opposite Mihika Verma in the episode Yeh Hai Aashiqui. In the following year he recreated their love story in the final episode of Season 1. In 2014 he portrayed Vidhyut in MTV in MTV Fanaah. Rithvik, in the same year participated in Dance Reality Show Dare 2 Dance hosted by the finale episode of India’s Raw Star. He hosted variety of shows thereafter, such as V Distraction and Nach Baliye 7 with Karan Patel.

In 2016 he acted in Super Dancer Chapter 1 and Man Vs Job. In 2017 he hosted the Aye Zindagi and was a participant in Fear Factor” Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and ended at the 7th place. He later participated in Lip Sing Battle . From 2017 to 2018 he once again hosted Super Dancer Chapter 2 and on the Gold Award for Best Anchor . he hosted the Rasoi Ki Jung Mummyon Ke Sung and India’s Next Superstar and for the show India’s Got Talent 8 in 2018.

He portrayed Shivam Chaturvedi opposite Anita Hassanandani in Galte Se Mistech. He hosted again the Super Dancer Chapter 3 between 2018 and 2019.

He appeared in Lockdown Rishtey as the presenter and then appeared in Ladies Vs Gentlemen as a Panelist. Rithvik has once again hosted the Super Dancer 4 and then went on to portray Abhay Angre opposite Monica Dogra in the 2021 series Cartel as Joginder Tutela.

In 2022, Rithvik appeared in the short film called Arranged opposite Tridha Choudhury. In the same year he hosted the Global Excellence Awards and Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

In 2023, Rithvik Dhanjani had appeared in an interactive film Lost and Found in Singapore opposite Apoorva Arora. It was released ln MX Player. The year he also appeared in an episode of the mini series called Butterflies. In 2024, for the reality show Aapka Apna Zakir, Dhanjani appeared as a Panel member and following that he played the role of Ved in the Half Love Half Arranged opposite Maanvi Gagroo. Both were much loved pair on screen.

Other: Rithvik Dhanjani along with his Cartel team has joined a project Name JO FO MO with an NGO to help the charitable organization to raise funds for migrant workers during the Covid 19 Pandemics. He did a ramp walk in ITA Creators Walk and has been a cover model for several popular magazines such as Gr8 Magazine and Zing Magazine.

Rithvik ranked at 15th place in the Eastern Eye’s 50 Sexiest Asian Men list in 2013. Thereafter he ranked at the 21st in 2014 and at 20th in 2015 in the Times of India’s Most Desirable Men on TV Lit. He was at 13th in 2017.

Apart from acting as his skills, Rithvik Dhanjani is a celebrity endorser for several brands and products which include Vivo. He also featured for Amazon Audible Ad film with Nakuul Mehta.

In 2024, Dhanaji had opened his own clothing line called RDX.
