Inder Kumar came back from his serious injury when he was bed-ridden for three years Tall, well built and dashing, Inder Kumar did his own stunts without stunt artist but one such daring stunt proved dangerous to his life and he was bed-ridden for three year. Fortune favors the brave goes a saying hence he was rescued since many doctors had told him that he would not be able to lead a normal life but Inder Kumar with his determination and perseverance came back. The deadly accident happened on the sets of Partho Ghosh’s film Maseeha when Inder Kumar fell from a moving helicopter. He had broken his vertebrae, doctors in Mumbai said that his chances of getting back on his feet were slim but Inder Kumar fought back and emerged a winner.

Inder Kumar came to Mumbai to become an actor Inder Kumar was born in Jaipur (Rajasthan). Later his family shifted to Kolkata. Here he did his education and moved to Mumbai to make a career in Modeling and films.

Inder Kumar found solace in his third wife, Pallavi Inder Kumar and actress Ishaa Koppikar romanced for over 12 years and the two were set to marry when Ishaa Koppikar ditched him and married a restaurateur Timmy Narang and quit Bollywood. In a bid to calm his anger; jilted Inder Kumar married Sonal Raju Kariya in 2003. But it did not last much and they divorced in 2003 itself. After failure in his first marriage, Inder Kumar injured himself on the sets of Partho Ghosh’s film Maseeha and broke his vertebrae and was confined to bed for next three years. Later in 2009 he married Kamaljeet Kaur but this marriage too lasted for less than six months. Eventually Inder Kumar got true love in his third wife Pallavi, whom he married in 2009. Pallavi stood by his side even when he was roped in a sex scandal and accused of rape. Pallavi was by his side when he breathed is last.

Inder Kumar was introduced by Marathi director Mahesh Kothare Inder Kumar had no godfather in Bollywood. He came to Mumbai from Kolkata to try his luck in films and began as a Model. His good looks and his dashing personality attracted Marathi filmmaker Mahesh Kothare, who brought a revolution in Marathi cinema in the 90’s with his many Marathi hit films. Mahesh Kothare introduced Inder Kumar in his first Hindi film, Masoom (1996), a remake of his hit Marathi film Majha Chakula. The film had Ayesha Jhulka as his heroine. The film had the super hit song - Chhota Bacha Jaan Ke Na Koi Aankh Dekhana Re…but the film did not fare well at box-office. Inder Kumar took character roles for survival As Inder Kumar’s first film failed as hero he was discarded by Bollywood hence to survive Inder Kumar signed few films as character actor like Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi opposite Akshay Kumar and Rekha with hope that the film might succeed due to top stars but the film failed. Unfortunately the other films he did like Ek Tha Dil Ek Thi Dhadkan and Ghoonghat, Dandnayak and Tirchhi Topiwale, Kunwara etc all bombed at box office labeling Inder Kumar as flop actor! Salman Khan came as savior in his life When Inder Kumar was passing through a rough phase in his life he happened to act opposite Salman Khan in the film Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye (2000). Being a fitness freak Inder Kumar soon became a friend of Salman Khan. The Dabangg actor gave him important tips, not only on fitness but on selecting films. Thus he did many successful films with top filmmakers like famous painter and filmmaker M. F. Husain’s Madhuri Dixit - Shahrukh Khan starrer Gaja Gamini, Pankaj Parashar’s Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge with Salman Khan, Mahesh Manjrekar’s Hathyar with Sunjay Dutt, Tinu Verma’s Maa Tujhhe Salaam with Sunny Deol, Partho Ghosh with Suniel Shetty, Abhishek Kapoor’s Aryan-Unbreakable and last but not the least Salman Khan’s Wanted. Inder Kumar had a brief stint with TV In a brief stint on Television, Inder Kumar created sensation when he played the role of Mihir Virani opposite Tulsi Virani (Smriti Irani) in Ekta Kapoor show - Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Badhu Thi in 2002. He made a comeback on TV in 2013 in the TV Series Fear Files Inder Kumar had a brief stint in Bengali films Inder Kumar also tried his luck in Bengali films in 2005 by doing an action thriller Agnipath opposite Ranjit Mallick and Biplab Chatterjee
