In his Tollywood directing debut, K. V. Guhan, a former cinematographer, wrote and directed the 2019 Indian action thriller movie 118. Kalyan Ram, Shalini Pandey, and Nivetha Thomas play the leading characters in the movie. Shekar Chandra created the soundtrack for the movie, while Mahesh S. Koneru under the banner of East Coast Production is in charge of its production. The movie centres on an investigative journalist who becomes in danger when he tries to unravel the mystery of a reoccurring nightmare about the murder of a lady.
