1857 Diary The Hidden Pages is one of the recently released movies of the historical-drama genre. This new film’s story’s backdrop is set against the swirl of resistance during India’s First War of Independence in 1857. 1857 Diary: The Hidden Pages unfolds through the lens of a clandestine personal diary that captures pivotal yet overlooked events.

The new film’s storyline revolves around Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, a spiritual visionary whose powerful views on Swadharm and Swaraj start to crystallize into a strategic plan for revolution. While the diary's entries go on to describe a secret meeting at the 1855 Haridwar Kumbh Mela, you see Swami Omanand and Swami Purnanand appointing Dayanand with the task of awakening the oppressed masses of India.

Through intimate narrative voiceovers and flashbacks, 1857 Diary: The Hidden Pages is one of the recent movie releases that dramatizes the courage of several key freedom fighters, such as Shyamji Krishna Varma, Bhanumati Krishna Varma, and a young Jhansi Rani, who had drawn inspiration from Dayanand’s moving clarion call.
