Amar Raj is an Indian Bollywood film released in 1946 and is directed by Niren Lahiri. It’s a film that has explored the theme of love, family and the social responsibility. Starring in the film are actor K.L.Saigal who is also a legendary singer and Madhubala the renowned actress known for her beauty, grace and talent.

The film is about the complexities in a relationship with social expectations and one’s personal aspirations. The film Amar Raj has explored the pressure between following traditions vs modernity in love and duty.

Music is composed by Rafiq Ghaznavi with the songs sung by K.L.Saigal himself which includes the ‘ Tere Naina’ and ‘Ae-Dil-E-Nadaan’.
