Anban is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Niren Lahiri. The Story revolves around the life of two friends- Madhav Pandit(played by Jagirdar) and Pande(played by Shahnawaz) and their ego fight)- Vijay(played by Pahadi Sanyal)- the son of Pande fells in love with Malti (played by Nargis)- a sweet girl of Pandit and wanted to marry each other- but there is a rift between friends and the marriage of Malati and Vijay is broken. Madhavi is married off to Ranjan- a drunkard- despite opposition from everybody. Malati’s marriage is fixed with an aged Zamindar.
