Anjan is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Amiya Chakrabarty. The Story revolves around the life of Indira (played by Devika Rani)- a sweet and poor governess employed by the widow, Ranima (played by Gulab), and an evil man Ramnath (played by Girish) falls in love with her and turns to villainous acts in order to win her over- but she fells in love with Ajit (played by Ashok Kumar)- a kind doctor- but things get complicated- when Ramnath frames Ajit for murdering Ranima- but fate plays its role, leading to consequences.
