Prem has been brought up by his grandfather, after his parents died in a plane crash years ago when he was a kid. His grandfather has nothing but regret, as his astrologer has warned him that any travel during that time will be dangerous. Now before doing anything, his grandfather always consults his astrologer. Soon Prem falls in love with a girl called Pooja and introduces her to his grandfather, who approves of her. However, when his grandfather consults the astrologer, he gives him shocking news that if the two lovers get married, she will murder him within 12 months of their marriage. Thus the lovers are forced to separate. Soon Pooja gets married to Pratap. Turns out after a few months, she is arrested for the murder of her mother-in-law and Pratap’s uncle, while Pratap has a narrow escape from death.
Prem is now Pooja’s attorney and works to find out the real truth as to why would Pooja do such a thing, and if there is any truth to the astrologer’s predictions. The movie is directed by Ashim S Samanta and produced by Shakti Samanta. The music is composed by Anu Malik and the lyrics are written by Anand Bakshi. The screenplay and story is written by Shabd Kumar. The star cast includes Ashok Kumar, Sharad Kapoor, Raakhee, Rohit Roy, Pramod Moutho, Satyen Kappu, Ram Mohan and Suman Rangnathan.
