Based on the celebrated Oriya novel ‘Aseema’, this movie revolves around the strength and conviction of a young woman. The film ‘Aseema Beyond Boundaries’ is written by Oriya novelist and poet Sailaja Kumari Aparajita. Gracy Singh plays the lead role of a woman who single handedly achieves her dreams and goals without the support or dependence on anyone.
The movie is an eye opener and empowering for women from all walks of life who feel threatened in a male dominated society. Women sometimes don’t fully know how much vigor and resilience they have. It shows how women can achieve anything they put their heart and mind to.
The movie is directed by Sisir Mishra and produced by Kabindra Prasad Mohanty. The star cast includes Kiran Kumar, Gracy Singh, Asseem Merchant, Neha Pendse, Aryan Singh, Surendra Pal, Sidhant Mohapatra, Nisha Parulkar and Kirti Chauhan. The music is composed by Shamir Tandon and the singers include Hariharan, Shreya Ghoshal and Sadhana Sargam. The cinematography is by S Kumar and the screenplay is written by Sisir Misra.
