The Story revolves around the life of Dharamdas (played by Ashok Kumar)- A Kind-Hearted man living with her wife- Achala (played by Nirupa Roy)- A Sweet woman and has a child named Raj Kumar (played by Aroop Kumar)- A Sweet child in poor lifestyle. However, Dharamdas's friend suggested to him a job that can change his life overnight and they started to get rich- but Achala wants to know the truth and she leaves him after she comes to know- Gambling.
