Bombairiya, a 2019 film is a black comedy crime drama directed by Pia Sukanya and written and produced by Micheal E. Ward, Sukanya and Aarti Bagdi.
The film starring Radhika Apte, Siddhant Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Adil Hussain, Ravi Kishan and Amit sial along with Ajinkya Deo and Shilpa Shukla.
The film is set on a real story with a character named Meghna who gets into a series of events, following her phone that gets stolen. The film was shot at 40 locations in sync with the sounds of Mumbai streets. The film is also inspired by Micheal Ward’s own experience of living in Mumbai and captures the image of Mumbai city with vigour, humour and chaotic and actually shows you the one day in the life of Radhika Apte. She does get a solo attention for a while. The film is more of an homage to the fast paced city Mumbai that makes you smile if you are living in Mumbai. !
