CHARAK: Fair of Faith is an upcoming Hindi feature film to be produced by the renowned filmmaker Sudipto Sen who is the director of the controversial blockbuster The Kerala Story. The film is directed by Shieladitya Moulik and is the first production venture of Sen under the banner of Sipping Tea Cinemas. Although the main cast has not been disclosed yet, the production is said to be consistent with Sen’s bold style, so an unflinching exploration of a sensitive and dark subject matter is expected.

The film takes a closer look at a volatile world where faith is no longer the source of miracles but rather becomes dangerous. CHARAK probes into the remote area of true devotion and destructive fanaticism, thereby questioning how belief systems are exploited and used as weapons against the weak. The theme is the primal force of faith, its healing, inspiring and utterly destructive powers, hence the stupendous and convoluted narrative of human frailty, which is going to be very compelling and equally frightening.

The film CHARAK: Fair of Faith has been slated for theatrical release on March 6, 2026. Considering this, the viewers will witness an unsettling, dialogue-defining cinema piece.
