The movie chronicles the beginning of the country Bangladesh where millions were tortured and others killed. The effects of the war torn country will last a lifetime in the minds of the people and children who were subjected to extreme brutality. Humiliated and scorned for finding their identity in a different land, the people of Bangladesh had the worst during 1971, when true events that happened are shed light on in this movie.

 

It is documented that around 400,000 women were raped, 3 million people murdered and there was widespread genocide. The film also showcases three different stories which in the end intertwine into one. The first is of a journalist who is searching for his wife, 2 siblings who are the only inhabitants left of a village and an elderly man, who is getting people to a safe and secure place.

 

Children of War is directed by Mrityunjay Devvrat and produced by Soumya Joshi Devvrat. The music is composed by Sidhant Mathur. The cast includes, Victor Banerjee, Farooque Shaikh, Riddhi Sen, Rucha Inamdar, Pavan Malhotra, Indraneil Sengupta, Raima Sen and Tilotama Shome.
