Demonte Colony 2 - Vengeance Of The Unholy

“Demonte Colony 2” is a Tamil horror thriller film of the supernatural genre, directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu with Arulnithi in twin roles, along with Priya Bhavani Shankar and Arun Pandian. It is a follow-up to Demonte Colony (2015) and tells the story of strange occurrences around an ancient evil force that ensnares souls and requires sacrifices.

In the year 2009, Samuel "Sam" Richard hangs out with his friends, while his wife Debbie feels there is foul play. Years later, she attempts to conceive using Sam’s preserved sperm despite warnings from her family. Meanwhile, in Hyderabad, Srinivasan "Srini" lies in a vegetative state while his half-brother “Raghunandhan” (Raghu) seeks to claim their deceased father’s massive wealth by pushing for Srini’s passive euthanasia. However, “Debbie” learns that Raghu and Srini’s fates are mysteriously linked: if one dies, the other follows.

Debbie’s search for answers leads her to an ancient book, Unsung King of a Fallen Kingdom, previously read by Sam and Srini’s friend, Raghavan. The book connects to Demonte Colony, a cursed place where an evil entity chains the souls of its victims. Those who hold the cursed chain unknowingly fuel the spirit’s power. When Raghu unknowingly ends up with the chain, he becomes the next target.

As strange things happen, Debbie, Raghu, and exorcist monks try to end the curse with a Mahakala ritual. But Demonte's ghost gets hold of the situation, attacking Debbie and killing the Daoshi. Raghu comes to understand that the ghost is playing tricks on them, impersonating Sam. A fatal fight erupts as Demonte attempts to finish an ancient sacrificial ritual for a 15th-century Portuguese king. The monks step in, stopping the sacrifice, but Raghu becomes comatose while Srini recovers.

With the chain gone once more, Debbie and her friends learn of the sinister history of yearly sacrifices associated with Demonte. In Bihar, an unknown man, said to be the evil librarian Alphonse, carries out the murders. Srini vows to learn the truth and stop the curse by 6 June 2027, laying out a chilling sequel to the book.
