In their late sixties, two people venture into the next chapter of life. The lonely, retired police officer (Anjan Dutt) decides to escape routine with a journey—a chance to rediscover himself. On the road he meets a woman (Mamata Shankar), and together they embark on a quest for meaning, companionship and love in their twilight years.

As they share stories of the past and face the realities of aging, the pair open up about joys and regrets, vulnerabilities and hopes. Both are seeking a kind of “happily ever after,” despite time having already moved on. With each encounter and shared memory they question: is there still time? Has destiny already slipped by?

In this tender tale of late-life renewal, will they find in one another the comfort, connection and closure they’ve longed for? Or will the weight of years say: “Deri hoye geche”—it’s too late?
