Dhadkan 2 is the upcoming romantic drama film that acts as a sequel to the major hit movie from the year 2000. Ratan Jain produces and Dharmesh Darshan directs the film. Both of them have previously worked together on this project. The cast is not entirely decided yet, but already there are speculations about Ahaan Panday and Sanjana Sanghi playing the lead roles. The production intends to use the classic romance of the original film but do the story for today's generation.

The plot is thought to revolve around a new version of a love triangle, and it is going to be very much the same as was the case with the first Dhadkan. The movie's most important issues will once more be love, sacrifice and complicated relationships. It will be the same old dilemmas but in today's world, and the audience will be given a new set of emotional challenges, yet they will still be offered the passionate romance and drama the series is famous for.

The producers expect to begin Dhadkan 2 filming in 2024 or 2025, so the release date will probably be announced shortly after the completion of filming. It will be a major Bollywood romantic movie and will be released in cinemas first. Later on, it will be available for streaming. The viewers will be treated with a grand musical drama which would be full of intense feelings, a great soundtrack and a new perspective on intricate modern love.
