Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi is an upcoming comedy and drama film directed by Siddhant Raj Singh. Ekansh Bachchan and Harsha Bachchan are the producers working under Eksha Entertainment. The film boasts a heavy cast with the remarkable Sanjay Mishra and Mahima Chaudhary portraying the protagonists, in addition to Vyom Yadav and Pallak Lalwani whose pairing also promises to be a delight.
Set against the backdrop of Varanasi's delightful humour, the tale revolves around Durlabh Prasad. His life is turned upside down when the family considers that he should remarry in order for his son Murli, who is already an adult, to get a wife. No father would want to marry off his daughter to the family of a man who does not have a woman in it. The film conveys the idea of second chances concerning life and love, and at the same time, it is very funny, weird, and sentimental moments as Durlabh Prasad gets ready for his unforeseen wedding.
The film is tagged as a welcome family comedy and is going to hit the theatres on December 19, 2025. Banarasi humour and warmth would be the main attractions for the viewers, so they shouldn't miss out on the fun, albeit a little serious, storyline. The movie would be a perfect festive viewing as it portrays the craziness and love that are the foundations of Indian families, so bringing it out as touching is only through humorous means.
