Shankar is a street smart and expert bank robber. However when he meets Paro, he falls head over heels in love with her and marries her. He promises her that he will end his life of crime henceforth. However on their first night itself, tragedy strikes when he gets arrested and corrupt bank officer Varma testifies against him. He is given an early release from jail due to his good behavior but somehow Varma keeps rejecting his
plea. Varma then makes a deal with him that he will help him exit jail if he robs his bank. This is so that Varma can hide his black embezzled money from the bank in the guise of the theft. Paro does not accept this deal and tells Shankar to honestly compete his jail term. However desperate to meet his wife again, Shankar accepts the deal. Meanwhile the evil Varma rapes Paro. In traumatic state, she goes back home and when Shankar comes home she does not disclose anything to him. Infact she joins him in the robbery and decides to take revenge on Varma on her own terms. The film is directed and produced by Yogi Kathuria. The music is composed by Jaidev. The star cast includes Sunil Dutt, Parveen Babi, Madan Puri, Gulshan Arora and Jankidas.
