The story of Father’s Day, revolves around the life and times of Suryakant Bhande Patil, played by Emraan Hashmi, an honest and valiant detective. He has spent the peak of his career in solving child kidnapping cases for free. As per statistics he has helped nab child kidnappers and solved over 120 of such cases without charging a penny. His bravery and intellect is commendable and an inspiration to today’s youth. The movie gives us an insight as to how one can be cautious with kids when we take them to public places and when left off guard, anti-social elements of our community take advantage of it.
The movie is directed by Shantanu Baagchi and produced by Kalpana Udyawar, Priya Gupta and Emraan Hashmi. The story of the movie is written by Ritesh Shah.
