News of a woman been viciously murdered in the city spreads like wild fire. People are terrified to venture outside at night and think they might be the killer’s next target. It’s a matter of time before the one murder turns into a series of serial murders. Security has been beefed up in people’s houses and anyone who looks suspicious will be kept an eye on.
Swapna, played by Tapsee Pannu is vivacious girl who loves online gaming. But she looks disturbed and tensed most of the time. It’s because of the night approaching and she hasn’t slept in ages. She is mighty afraid of the dark and cannot stay more than 2 seconds in a dark place. Her Nyctophobia was sparked with a personal tragedy that happened in her life a year ago. She is unable to come to terms with it and only finds solace in gaming. She finds relaxation and peace when she is playing the online game Pac-Man.
When Swapna realizes that the tattoo on her wrist was created with ink from an unknown girl’s ashes, she has anxiety and fear. What’s worse is that the serial killer might be after her and she is unable to carry on her day normally as she feels his presence constantly around her. Game over is directed by Ashwin Saravanan and produced by S. Sashikanth.
