Gunmaaster G9

Gunmaaster G9 is one of the recently released movies of the action-thriller genre. This new film’s story kicks off when a top-secret criminal gang wipes out the police department with state-of-the-art weapons, and the Indian government launches Project G9, an elite spy program in the style of 007. Emraan Hashmi is G9, a hard-edged anti-hero, morally ambiguous, but only being trained in espionage, fighting and high-tech infiltration. In this round-the-clock race against time, G9’s first assignment is to hunt down a notorious illegal arms ring backed by an unseen mastermind. G9 finds himself globetrotting to hunt down a mastermind operating in the underbelly of Karachi’s bazaars, the swanky corporate skyscrapers in Mumbai, and the exclusive black market auction houses of Europe.

G9 utilises gadgets designed by Himesh Reshammiya’s character, whose musical codename is ‘beats & blasts’, which consists of some hidden weapons that combine sound, rhythm and lethal laser grids. Later, G9 engages himself in battles of wills and modern technology, and a sense of urgency fuels his fiery pursuit, especially as a crucial alliance gets formed with a reformed personal intelligence analyst portrayed by Genelia D’Souza, who has the key to the syndicate’s operational guide.

Eventually, the mastermind behind this syndicate exposes a sinister plan to destabilise India’s economic foundation through arms for data exchange. G9 needs to rely on more than just training as he thinks outside the box on order to defeat a remarkable villain while investigating the aspects of his personal past.
