“Hit List” is an upcoming 2024 Tamil action thriller film directed by Soorya Kathir Kakkallar and K. Karthikeya and produced by K. S. Ravikumar under RK Celluloids. The film features R. Sarathkumar and Vijay Kanishka in important roles.

“Vijay” (Vijay Kanishka) is an IT expert who resides with his mother, Sithara, and younger sister, Abi Nakshatra. He adheres to the ideologies of Vallalar and believes in non-violence. One day, a masked intruder kidnaps his mother and sister and demands that Vijay do as he is told or they will be killed. “ACP Yazhvendan” (Sarathkumar) starts investigating the case.

The masked figure instructs Vijay to intrude into the residence of a local gangster, Kaali, and combat him. Although unwilling, Vijay is coerced into obeying. Vijay kills Kaali during the combat. Meanwhile, Dr. Karunakaran, the dean of a hospital, is also trapped by the masked figure after his son is abducted. Both Vijay and Dr. Karuna get to a concealed location, where the masked figure discloses devastating facts.

During the lockdown due to COVID-19, Dr. Karuna sold oxygen cylinders that were to be used in government hospitals illegally, causing a lot of deaths. Dr. Anitha, who worked at his hospital, attempted to reveal him but was killed by Kaali and his gang. The masked man now instructs Vijay to kill Dr. Karuna for the freedom of his mother and sister. Vijay kills him after a fierce battle, and the masked man frees his mother and sister.

ACP Yazh follows the location of the masked man but is too late. He later encounters Vijay and discovers that he knows Vijay himself is the masked man. In a flashback, Vijay's father is shown to have died during the oxygen crisis as he saved a pregnant woman. In his quest for justice, Vijay meticulously planned and carried out his revenge. Having understood Vijay's motives, ACP Yazh chooses to keep his secret.
