“Impathu Roova” is a 2019 Tamil drama by G. Panneerselvam. The film has Akhil Farook, Suru Lakshmi, Manobala, and Nellai Siva in key roles. It talks about love, friendship, and family conflicts within a traditional village setting.

The story revolves around a young man from a rich family in a village. His dad is an established rice peddler but doesn't see him joining the business. During the day, he hangs around with friends living carefree life. His little sister also gets infatuated with his closest friend, leaving another clandestine romance in the family.

One day, the young man falls in love with a girl from another town. But the strict father does not want him to marry a girl of his choice. He refuses to accept love. The son tries several times to make his father understand, but his father is rigid with his decision. When the friends see their friend's struggle, they establish a risky plan; to kidnap the girl and get them married in secret.

As the plan unfolded and more unexpected twists and challenges arose, the sister was bringing to light her own secret relationship in the family drama. The father, now betrayed, resolved to take drastic measures against his son. And thus, the young man was in a battle to fight for his love, his sister's future, and demonstrating to his father that love had no control.

Will he be able to marry the girl he loves? Will his sister's relationship withstand the opposition of the family? Impathu Roova is a light-hearted but emotional drama that delves into the strength of friendship, love, and fighting for one's happiness.
