“Indha Nilai Maarum” is a Tamil thriller film directed by Arunkanth V, released on 6th March 2020. Ashwin Kumar is cast in the title role as Surya, Ramkumar as Deva, and Nivedhithaa Sathish plays key roles. As for the fun quirky character of Radio Jackson, he dresses up to be much like Michael Jackson, played by Chaams.

It is the story of Surya and Deva, two young ambitious entrepreneurs who start an internet radio station. The show that is most widely followed is a talk show about marriage and matchmaking that intrigues and sparks controversy in listeners. It rings a gigantic bell, shaking the conventional notions regarding relationships and marriage.

However, a powerful magazine publishing conglomerate is not happy about their success. The corporate giant views the internet radio station as a threat to its company and decides to destroy them. They sued Surya and Deva for misleading the public and disseminating controversial concepts.

The court case begins, and Surya and Deva are facing all odds in fighting for their ideas. At the risk of being defamed, they must demonstrate that this was not an entertaining platform but rather a serious conversation space. Simultaneously, Deva has his friend standing by his side, emotionally preparing him and directing him in those moments of utter despair.

As tensions escalate, the duo faces pressure from legal authorities and rival media houses. Will they save their radio station, or will corporate power silence their voices?

Indha Nilai Maarum is yet another thriller that draws its audience into the debate of media influence, free speech, and the fight between innovation and the established power. It excites the viewer through an engaging story, relatable characters, and sudden humorous incidents, which keeps them hooked till the conclusion.
