"Infinity" is a Tamil-language crime action film released in 2023 and directed, written by Sai Karthik. The Menpani Production banner produced the film, and it stars Natty Subramaniam in a lead role while Vidya Pradeep and Munishkanth play supporting roles.

The movie takes off with a haunting string of killings in Chennai: a girl, then a writer, and then even a cop. Panic sets in and there is no lead, and the case is transferred to "Illavalavan" (Natty Subramaniam), a dogged CBI man with a reputation for cracking big cases. When he dives into the investigation, he finds himself trapped in an infuriating maze of clues, blind alleys, and inexplicable connections between the victims.

A mysterious caller starts phoning him, which introduces more suspense to the case. As Illavalavan peels away the layers of the puzzle, he finds that there is an evil conspiracy by a secret organization that is experimenting with human cloning. Every clue leads to more appalling truths, and the officer realizes that these killings are not random: they are premeditated acts connected to a far darker motive.

The deeper he digs, the more complex the case turns out to be. While the plot thickens, Illavalavan must run against time in putting an end to the people behind the cloning tests and bringing the criminals to justice for their victims. But did he waste valuable time already? The film ends in a cliffhanger with unanswered questions and a hint of a sequel, leaving the masses hanging by their suspenders.

"Infinity" is a fascinating concept with a science fiction spin within a crime thriller framework. Natty gives a solid performance, holding the movie together with determination. Although the script becomes ponderous and befuddling at times, the overall concept sustains interest in the audience. With suspense, science, and action elements, the movie piques interest despite its failure in execution.
