Interrogation is one of the recently released movies of the suspense-thriller genre. The storyline of this new film’s mystery dives head first into what happens when a retired judge is found shot to death in his own home. Then, this cleanup case, this investigation is turned over to an extremely veteran police detective who gets all control over the case and thus immediate jurisdiction over four people who were last to see the judge alive. These four were perhaps his closest advisors.

The film’s story closely follows the officer’s investigations, as he questions one by one, going deeper with each and every suspect, while uncovering the many layers of their connection with the murdered judge. This development then sets in motion what starts out as a standard investigation that morphs into a gripping psychological warfare, when many secrets hidden deep beneath the surface start to bubble up. Each collaborator carries their own secret agendas and hidden narratives and thus, without knowing, uncovers the pieces of a much bigger and complicated reality.

As the investigation unfolds, the officer finds himself on a trail filled with lies, betrayal…and surprising links. This is one of the best recent movie releases that has expertly used all kinds of red herrings that take viewers down several different paths of doubt before finally exposing the jaw dropping truth of the judge’s demise. In addition to being a deeply unnerving film that will have you jumping at every noise, Interrogation shines a light on how even the most innocent appearing lives can hide a sinister path of secrets.
