Kaaval Geetham (1992) is a romantic action drama by S.P. Muthuraman. Features Vikram and Sithara in the main role. The movie follows journalist Priya and Inspector Ashok as they expose the vicious reality behind an acid attack and a village murder, taking on a deadly criminal, Ramesh. As a killer is brought to justice and deeper secrets are uncovered, together they must run against the clock to see his dark secrets stop before more lives are forever destroyed.

Priya, a crime journalist, becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth behind an acid attack and the murder of a young girl, leaving a jarring reminder of the horror set in motion. Her pursuit of justice brings her into direct conflict with Inspector Ashok, who rescues Priya from the murderers' thugs. Ashok's sleuthing helps score the culprit's arrest, and a romance blossoms between the two. Their homicide investigation takes a dark turn when an anxious house husband, Arthanari, suspects Ramesh is behind the murder of his wife, Thangam, after a violent quarrel.

As they dig deeper into Ramesh's past, they uncover a tragic tale of betrayal and murder. They discover that Thangam was deceived by Ramesh in the village, leading to her brutal killing by Ramesh and his accomplice Rathna. Ramesh resorts to brutal and dishonest measures to murder witnesses and sabotage law enforcement's investigation, escalating the peril as his duplicitous machinations could drown everyone who opposes him. The suspense builds to a thrilling third-act showdown, where Priya and Ashok must outwit Ramesh before he can win, killing them and covering up his crimes for good.
