“Kaazh” is a Tamil drama feature film directed by Mohanraj V. J. and acted by Yugendran, Siddarth Anubarasu, and Mimi Leonard. The film documents the ordeals and aspirations of Australian Tamil immigrants chasing their Australian Dream.

“Seenu” (Yugendran) and “Poornima” (Mimi Leonard) are a Sri Lankan Tamil couple who strive day and night to create a better future for themselves. Seenu's greatest aspiration is having his own house, and he works two jobs to bring that to reality. But when their loan application gets rejected at the bank, Seenu gets desperate and falls prey to a crooked property dealer without realizing it. The scam drains all their money, and they have to begin again from scratch. Though deflated, Seenu and Poornima do not give up and continue with hope and determination.

Simultaneously, “Puli” (Siddarth Anubarasu), the cobbler's son, comes to Australia as an international student with the aspiration of obtaining a permanent residency (PR) visa. Foreign life is not easy, and Puli cannot manage to get stable work while studying. At his workplace, he faces caste discrimination from his co-worker “Swami” (Ashwin), who hates him. Swami always taunts Puli and tries to make his life tough.

When Puli struggles for his survival, a sudden tragedy strikes, presenting him with the opportunity to flip the script against Swami. This incident takes a turn in his life, compelling him to take tough decisions that will have a bearing on his future.

With the lives of Seenu, Poornima, and Puli intersecting, "Kaazh" depicts the struggle, sacrifices, and determination of Tamil immigrants to succeed in a new land. The movie touches on themes of ambition, identity, discrimination, and perseverance, presenting a realistic and authentic portrayal of the struggles of many in their quest for a brighter tomorrow.
