Kamthaan is a 2024 Gujarati-language crime comedy film directed by Dhrunad Kamle and produced by Harfanmaula Films in association with PAM Studio. The film features a stellar ensemble with Hitu Kanodia, Sanjay Goradia, Darshan Jariwala & Arvind Vaidya. The plot, which takes place in the made-up village of Anjanipur in the year 2000, revolves around a low profile dacoit, Raghlo, who inadvertently robs the house of freshly transferred Police Inspector Satrunjaysinh R. Rathod. Among the missing property are the inspector’s uniform, pistol and medals. His theft kicks off a hysterical chain reaction of events that leaves the would-be robber and his village headman, Chhanalal, facing the undiluted weight of the law in a hilarious game of cat-and-mouse loaded with pratfalls and dumb luck. 

While critics have bashed Kamthaan for its underhanded storytelling techniques, audiences have rewarded the film a great publicity through its catchy storytelling and crackling performances.
