Kapkapiii is one of the recently released movies of the horror-comedy genre. This new film’s story is about a group of friends who get fascinated with the Ouija board turns their lives upside down. The film’s story starts with these six close friends, namely Manu, Rivin, Nanku, Achyut, Nirup, and Vijay, who share a house. On the top floor, their mutual friends Kavya and Madhu reside together. Then, as they come to know each other, Manu introduces the group to the Ouija board, a tool which they use to communicate with the spirits and seek answers from the deceased.

This leads them to go back in time, and that sooner transitions into a thrilling and chilling nightmare. As they summon the Ouija board, they end up contacting the spirits, and it starts to wreak havoc on the eight residents, and at some evil times, other friends also join these unsettling Ouija board encounters, further entangling themselves in the unfolding horror mystery.

Later, the eerie atmosphere gets intensified with the unexpected arrival of Kabir, a friend of Manu. Kabir's behaviour is said to be alarmingly strange and unsettling that goes on adding yet another layer of dread to their already precarious situation. The film delves into the dark side of dabbling with the unknown mysteries and thereby showcases how a mere, simple game can unleash some malevolent mysteries with some deadly and devastating consequences.
