"Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga" is a 2013 Tamil political comedy film directed by Pandiraj. The film features Vimal, Sivakarthikeyan, Bindu Madhavi, and Regina Cassandra. The two free-spirited friends wish to be politicians but are soon confronted with realities of life in unanticipated ways.

Kesavan (Vimal) and Murugan (Sivakarthikeyan) are two close friends from Trichy, unemployed but positive about becoming big shots in politics. Murugan falls for a girl called Paapaa (Regina Cassandra), and Kesavan falls for Mithra (Bindu Madhavi). Eventually, the two girls fall for the boys. A local councillor election is announced, and Murugan runs for it. Paapaa even provides him with money to campaign. Murugan loses the election. Stunned at this, his dad, suddenly passes away. Murugan then inherits his father's occupation to sustain the family. Meanwhile, Kesavan gets married to Mithra, and Murugan awaits the approval of his family in order to marry Paapaa. Later, the two couples get united.

After experiencing gains and losses, Murugan and Kesavan understand that real respect in life is not achieved through hollow dreams or shortcuts but through responsibility and hard work. Both of them return to their families as mature people. Murugan pays tribute to his deceased father with a sincere message, signing "Dad is my God," while Kesavan signs "My Father is a Hero" below his father's photograph, indicating how emotionally matured they have become.

"Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga" is a romantic and light-hearted entertainer that blends comedy, romance, and social message. Sivakarthikeyan and Vimal have excellent chemistry, and their humorous and heart-wrenching experience is something that becomes easily relatable. The film has a decent pace with plain story-telling, witty dialogues, and peppy music. Though it is initially developed as a comedy, it concludes on a serious note regarding the values of family and the need for responsibility and hence becomes a feel-good movie for everyone.
