Pratap Kumar is a hard working and responsible man who wants to achieve immense success in his life. He thus decides to relocate to Bombay in search of a lucrative career. Soon a company hires him and he stays with his friend Gopal and his sister Maya, in a chawl. He dreams of owning a posh apartment at Malabar hills and earn loads of money. His dream partly comes true when he gets promoted to Deputy General Manager and also woos his boss’s attractive daughter Indrani. The couple decide to tie the knot. However on the day of the engagement things go horribly wrong when Pratap goes missing. When Indrani and her father probe further they are stunned ot know that Pratap has been arrested on the charge of a pregnant Maya’s murder. The film is directed by Shakti Samanta and produced by Shakti Films. The music is composed by Ravindra Jain.
