Lakshmi, is born to a middle class family, but soon after her birth her mother passes away. Her father is then forced to remarry as Lakshmi is too little and she needs a mother to take care of her. However after her father marries a woman named Malti, things start turning for the worse. Malti dislikes Lakshmi from the very first day. She ill treats her and is hardly like a mother to her. But Lakshmi doesn’t give up hope. She prays to Maa Kali day and night. Soon her prayers are answered when she marries a kind doctor. She is happy and her mother-in-law is compassionate and kind too. Her life seems to have become great but unfortunately one-day tragedy strikes. Laxmi’s husband meets with an accident and is paralysed.
Laxmi’s world comes crashing down and his mother is devastated to see her son in this state. However, every night Laxmi goes out secretly. When asked she refuses to divulge any details. This makes her mother-in-law suspicious but there is more to it than meets the eye. The movie is directed by Shantilal Soni and is produced by Eagle Home Entertainment. The star cast includes Anju Sanjeev, Navgata Antra, Sandhmitra Sagrika.
