Malkin is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by O.P. Dutta. The story revolves around the life of Malkin (played by Durga Khote)- An Elderly woman owning a chawl in Bombay and shelter's various family in her chawl. However, her daughter- Manju (played by Nutan)- A Sweet girl who dreams of a big and luxurious house and demands her for it- but she rejects. when she travels to the pilgrimage she transfers the possession to Manju and she falls in love with Sharad (played by Sajjan)- A kind man and both wanted to build a multistorey building- but Malkin returned in time and stopped them, leading to consequences.
