Maniyara (1983)

Contrary to the wishes of Shameer's mother, Noorjahan married Shameer. Because of this, Noorjahan's life at home is challenging. Shameer's mother used Noorjahan's abortion to put Noorjahan and Shameer apart in order to arrange for Shameer to marry Sheela, the daughter of her brother. Shameer was persuaded to wed Sheela by the argument that Noorjahan wouldn't be able to become pregnant again. Noorjahan passes out the day before Shameer and Sheela are to be married, and a doctor discovers that she is pregnant. Shameer receives this information and visits Noorjahan to call off the wedding. But when he discovers a lifeless Noorjahan, he understands that his mother was the one who had engineered the situation, and in the end, he becomes insane.
