The story is about a reunion with Midhun, a forest guard, who invited his old friends to a party in a remote forest and while they reflect on nostalgic experiences, all seems good. But buried is the group history of secrets and tension. The reunion soon turns into a contest of trust, and loyalty. In the end, survival is the secret agenda of individuals within the group to come out. As the night progresses, so does the hidden conflict until the end, where the forest is a witness to the entire drama. Suspense in the forest heightens the characters' psychological conflict.
Kathir plays Midhun, whose calm demeanour masks deeper emotional struggles. Shine Tom Chacko does a compelling job of exploring betrayal, while juggling his internal conflict. Jeo Baby plays the political leader, and his inclusion in the reunion creates a spark reaction to the gathering's dynamic. Hasli and the other actors provided nuanced, layered performances to convey intense emotion into the plot, establishing an ambient feel to the film that continues to draw the audience along until the end.
Meesha was released on August 1, 2025 and is recommended for fans of psychological thrillers and character-driven stories.
