Narkarappor

“Narkarappor” is a 2024 drama film that has been written and directed by Shree Vetri and produced by Velayudham under V House Production. All this changes once the boy's incredible chess ability begins to shine. In spite of all odds against him, he demonstrates that genius and intellect have no caste or class restrictions. As he succeeds in the game of chess, he is faced with mighty opponents in and outside the game: rich elites unwilling to recognize his greatness and a system ensuring that someone like him fails.

The film uses the game of chess to a great extent as allegory for the game of life and demonstrates how careful thinking, will power, and courage can succeed even in the most unfavorable situations. The boy, through his experience, gives an example of determination and potential to overcome even the biggest obstacles for his country.
