New Delhi is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Comedy Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by Mohan Segal. The Story revolves around the life of Anand Kumar (played by Kishore Kumar)- A Kind-Hearted man coming from Jalandhar and moves to New Delhi for the sake of Job and wants to find a Shelter and searches for it. He comes to know about a Tamilian family- Subramanium and takes shelter in their home as naming himself- Anandkumar Swami. He fells in love with Janaki (played by Vyjayanthimala) - A Sweet girl and wanted to marry her- but chaos ensured when they come to know the truth, leading to consequences.
